funkysafari: Pangolin Climbing a Tree by George Steinmetz this used to be my favourite animal for a few months when I was little. In german it’s called “Schuppentier” which litterally translates into Scale(d)-animal. But the word “schuppen” also means garden shed in german. I was a bit let down when I found out that they’re not called “Schuppentier” because they live in a “Schuppen” (garden shed) but because they’re scaled.
lepreas: Abe’s Odysee was my favourite PS1 game. So, so good. The hours I’ve spent on that game o.O

I think it’s more important to know how I loved whale sharks as a kid. I even had a rubber toy whale shark. But it had really hard edges so I didn’t play with it much… I just admired it quietly thinking about how awesome it would be to have a whale shark as a friend.

My Dad used to live in this tower-like appartment and the staircase that led up to the front door was completely covered in these twines. I’ll never forget the sensational scent that filled the air every time they blossomed.
